I’m still reeling from the waves Jahmil X. T. Qubeka’s latest feature, Sew the Winter to my Skin, continues to make. The film recently saw it’s official release as the opening film of The Cape Town International Film Market & Festival. As well as being noted as South Africa’s official submission for the Oscar’s, the film took home the award for Best South African Feature Film.

Tomorrow also marks the South African nationwide release of the film, playing in theatres and cinemas across the country.
